DESCRIPTION:
At Cambridge, in the granite steps leading to the original Observatory located behind Phillips Auditorium. The Observatory complex is bounded by Concord, Madison, Garden, and Bond Streets on the West, North, East, and South, respectively, and may be reached from the driveway opposite the intersection of Garden and Linnaean Streets. The station is a standard 2" brass tablet set near the center of the lowest of three granite steps leading from the driveway to the old Observatory inscribed "Harvard University Geodetic Monument GPS 1992" an stamped OHOB15.
